Hi all. I'm a little overloaded at present so your advice / opinions are very welcome.
I'm currently using a Sony STR-DN1040 as a replacement to my Onkyo TX-NR717 ( see http://www.whathifi.com/forum/av-receivers/replacement-for-onkyo-tx-nr-717 )
Very gratefully, I now have the choice between an Onkyo TX-NR717 and a Sony STR-DN1050. While the Sony comes with the latest built in Wi-fi, blue tooth and airplay. It lacks the outputs and cert's of the Onkyo.
My listening room is large and I primarily use the amp in the evening for music, film or game. I have no 2nd room that I use. I rarely listen to internet radio and I won't be buying a 4k set for 2/3 years. However I would like my amp to be as futureproof as possible.
What's your take / advice ?
