Sony STR-DH810 vs 820

I'm looking to upgrade my sony dh800 to a dh810 for the 3d compatibility.

But what's the difference between the 810 and the 820?

The DH810 is the 2010 model whereas the DH820 is the 2011 model. Not sure it offers anything drastically more in terms of spec (in fact in some ways it seems less capable), but it may well offer an increase in sound quality - hard to say without auditioning both.
