Hi i bought sonys kdl52v4000 and find the picture has smearing even on dvd is there a fault with my tv or is this the reason sony now has tv's with motion flow. guess i should of wated a few mounths for the w4500

try setting sharpness picture setting to 1.minimum applies maximum picture sharpness that makes image horrible.

Yep ears right! go through your menu and turn off all the wibbly bits! I had an older sony the w2000 and after a bit of playing around in you should be able to a pretty smear free pictue!
