after buying my panasonic 50"80p plasma today having looked also at the sony 52" model the picture quality was poor,motion smearing evident with sd pictures. how it got 5 stars in the reviews i dont know, glad i got the panny pz80b i can see now why there are so many complaints about lcds this size.

I have had this tv for a few weeks now and havent come across any of the problems that you mention
im happy with my tv absolutley superb picture when watching Sky Sports HD,no motion smearing on SD either, i can see why WHF guys gave it 5 stars
