Hi
I'm a newbie to surround sound and was wondering if anyone can help me out with a query please. I recently purchased a TV - Panasonic TH-42PZ85B, a surround system - Sony DAV-IS10 and a blue ray player - panasonic DMP - BD30. I also have a sky + HD box
I have 3 HDMI leads from my TV to the sky box, surround sound system and blue ray player. I have a coaxial from the blue ray player to the surround sound system and a digital audio lead from my tv to the sky box
I'm only getting sound from my front 3 speakers and sub woofer and not my 2 side speakers. Have watched a dvd and blue ray disc both having DD 5.1. so I am assumming I have set up something wrong here
I can alter the sound on the sony system from standard to multi and it plays from all speakers other than the front middle one
I can get all 5 speakers to work when I change the settings to the movie option, but then the side speakers are no where near as effective as they are under the multi fuinction
As I say, I'm new to all this so if anyone knows what I'm talking about, I would be very grateful for your assistance
Thanks
Mark
