Sony Dav-IS10 novice needs advice

I have just bought my first plasma tv th42pz70b and need a cinema system

will the sony work well with the panasonic and can you connect an ipod to the sony dont realy want to have an i dock etc

The tv will be fine, it is more a question of your source compnents.

You will need a dock of some description if you want to listen to your ipod through the Dav-is10. Sony do their own which uses the Digital Media Port facility of the amp, however at around £80 the Tdm-ip1 is not the cheapest option.

cheers david i've had a rethink after telling my mates and the have said go for a a/v reciever and use the xbox360 for dvd, and wait to get a next gen dvd player. So just ordered a onkyo reciever and i dock
