Sony DAV IS 10 and Sony KDL40V3000-connecting to sky

I have recently bought the above surround sound and tv but at present only have a standard sky box and therefore this is connected to the tv via a scart lead and the surround sound to the tv by a HDMI cable. Can anyone tell me what I need to do so that I can play the sky through the surround sound as I cannot figure it out despite playing around with various leads??!! Was thinking maybe an optical cable but I don't have one of these so wanted to check before buying one.

The standard sky box doesn't have optical so you will need to connect your tv to your Sony box with one instead. Once you upgrade to Sky + or Sky HD, you can connect your Sky box to your Sony dvd/receiver box.

Just connect the audio out from the digibox to the audio in on the DAV-IS10 using an audio phono lead.
