Just illustrates how much some manufacturers and retailers have engaged in price gouging under the pretext of rising energy and transportation costs. Especially post pandemic and more recent disruptions to global supply chains.

Noteworthy that SONY EU/UK have recently heavily discounted their newer BRAVIA XR displays and their BRAVIA Theatre Quad when bought together in bundle deals. Potentially saving up to £1800- on their BRAVIA 9 QLED and £1,000- on their BRAVIA Theatre Quad compared with their original MSRP.

But whether these bundle discounts have reduced them enough to justify their higher price, relative to comparable rival TV’s and wireless surround sound packages, is open to debate.
