I went in on Sunday, my favourite shop, Resident in Brighton is way too busy on the Saturday. I have some qualms about it now, too much from the big labels which fills up the pressing plants and delays new records, the pricing etc. However, I know it is also a huge event and Resident consider it bigger than Christmas!

Here's what I bought.

I still have this. One of the first PCM demo LPs from Denon. 🙂

 

[Revolutions]

I couldn’t resist getting this. It’s a quality recording although seems deliberately mixed to sound straight off the tape (EDIT: description says it’s unmixed 😁). It’s raw. As a fan (+ a 13 year-old lucky enough to see them on the evil empire tour), it just demonstrates how powerful this band were & how much they could do with so little. Love it.
