Sony Bravia 7 K55XR70U £849.99

That price for the 75 is insane.

With the 55, Costco list it as the K55XR70U not the K55XR70PU - what does the lack of "P" denote?

Tempted to go to Costco and get the Sony 75-inch but can’t really fit it in the car. Only 1 left in stock yesterday at my local Costco, it is nationwide though.

Not sure. Usually a colour change or minor specification difference. Both look to have the same tuners built in for broadcast television. Only Sony will know I imagine. On their site it's listed as the K55XR70 with no suffix.

Depends on your requirements I guess.
I like the TCL and think they are good value. I I'm sensitive to movement on screens and need good upscaling and processing, that's where Sony shine. Be good if I didn't as would save me money!

Why?!
Perfectly good 2023 OLED.
You were nearly buying the Bravia 7 as well.
I don't think your looking for deals helps with your buying issue.
Give it a break for a while and enjoy your current screen.

I had a buyer lined up in my sister and I wanted a 5 year warranty and some potential screen burn warranty too.

Issue with the new TV and firmware update I did straight away apparently it cuts off nearly half the brightness and my TV is no where near the brightness of the S90C! Gone back, not buying another Samsung TV!

Just bought the Sony Bravia 7 for 75-inch TV at Costco for £1080. Nearly dislocated my shoulder carrying the thing! It’s well good though, really happy. £1000 off too.

I even got Richer Sounds to price match Costco but they were going to charge on top of £1080 £45 for Costco membership, £60 for delivery and £200 because Sony were offering £200 cashback although Costco were not doing this deal. So £1360 in total if someone wants to call a Richer Sounds store and do a deal for that.

How do they compare?
The better TV is the Samsung but I like the bright colours of the Sony and the size too. Both have good sound. The Sony is very impressive and I really like it. I have never had a Sony LED TV since my Sony 46hx803 3D TV but I am so impressed. I could tell from my demo in Costco it was really good and it is.
