Sony BPD-s370 sound and picture quality - Any opinions on it replaceing my pioneer dvd676a

Hi,

I am replacing my pioneer dvd676a - would the sony unit be an upgrade in sound quality and picture on my dvds I own. Does the sony sound okay on cds as well as the pioneer did quite well as a dvd in this regard.
Also what is the sound like through its analogue and coaxial inputs as their is no hdmi on my amp.
Any input would be valuable.

If you're asking about multi-channel analogue outputs though, it doesn't have them, stereo only.

Thanks, yes I am aware it dosent have multichannel outs, but I suppose on the coaxial output I would still get 6.1 wouldn't I.

Should be 5.1 on the optical/coaxial out if I am not wrong.
