Can you plug Active Speakers into the back of a Blue Ray Player?

just to confirm,

I have a sony bdp s350. im thinking of buying sum scandyna micropod active speakers.

Can these plug straight into the back?

Yes. All you need to do is buy a cable with 2 phonos at one end, and a mini-jack at the other. Connect the 2 phonos into the audio output on the back of the BDP-S350 and the mini-jack into the Line In on the speakers (I've just downloaded a photo of those speakers to check the connections).

That presumes that you are only talking about a pair of the speakers and NOT a full 5.1 set-up. The latter will not work because the BDP-S350 only has stereo audio outputs and not 5.1 analogue outputs.

To summarise, a stereo pair will work fine but any more than that won't.
