Sony BDP S760 set up problem

Hi there, have just got a Sony BDP S760 and can not seem to get a picture or sound? Have connected up to a Sony KDL 32W5500 with an HDMI lead. When switching the 760 on the TV switches to HDMI input 1, which i have the 760 connected to and on the front panel of the 760 it comes up with SETUP but nothing on the TV? do i have to change some settings on the TV?. Has anyone had this issue?. Ian

I did initially with mine, but it wasn't the 760, the hdmi input on the TV was disabled, that was a Pioneer TV though, I don't know if Sony do that with their TVs.
