The ability to attach a usb hard drive and controlling the player with an Android/iOS product may be of some use to some. If it implemented well-That is.

The Sony remote app should be able to control *70 series BDPs anyway, according to the info in the app itself.

With the Qriocity streaming service and usb playback Sony could be trying to muscle in on the ATV market. Plus it plays BDs and has iPlayer/5OD.

Nothing new there then.

Qriocity, USB playback, iPlayer and 5OD (and many others) on my 370. And yes the iPhone remote app works with it.

I see this player can use NTFS formatted hard drives now allowing for play back of larger MKV files. A real plus, but has anyone tried playing movies streamed from a NAS Drive or PC using MKV. I currently have the BDP-S370 which recognizes my Synology NAS but won't play. Hence, I also have the WDTV Live but, it would be great to combine the two.
