When I select BBC iPlayer for example, an overlay pops-up saying
Checking network connection
Please wait....
When this disappears it just returns to the Home menu and I have to select iPlayer again, Does everyone else get this, or is it something to do with my set-up? If it's normal behaviour then it seems like a bug to me - either it should test the network connection when you first power on, or it should go straight to your selection after checking.
On the subject of iPlayer, is there anyway to control how much it buffers? I was trying to watch a episode of Mountain Gorillas last night and gave up after about 20 mins due to it pausing to download every couple of minutes. Even putting it on pause for half an hour got no more than a couple of minutes buffered.
