Many-a-thread has been devoted to this subject. In my opinion (and I think most agree), the 370 is more assured than the PS3 when handling motion, and beats the PS3 for sound. In terms of general image quality/detail, it's a closer race, though the 370 shades it... Hope that helps?
For what it's worth, I own both, and I haven't used the PS3 as a Blu Ray player since buying the 370.
