Sony BDP-S350 - New Firmware v015

For those of you like me that don't connect their 350 to the internet, there's a new firmware v015 download for it on Sony's site below.

Looks like an update for BD live features so you may not get any benefits from the update if you dont connect your player to the net.

Not just that, it gives better BD compatability and playback

Thanks. I'm updating right now (at home again - snow snow snow...). First update since I got the machine out of the box actually. Hopefully all these cumulative updates will mean a reduced loading time now.

will the firmware speed up loading as well then?

I dont have mine connected to the net so if its only BD that benefits I prob wont bother

Not sure about this latest update, but updating from profile 1.1 to 2.0 is supposedly making disc load faster (as well as giving you access to those BD Live features).

I don't connect mine to the internet, but the update improves compatability with blu-rays. Also, I bet there's been a few tweaks here and there that they don't bother listing. I would say it's worth doing.
