sony 40w4500 vs pan 37px80 for freeview

having read the rave reviews for the 40w4500, just wondered if it was worth the extra money over the 37px80 if you're mainly going to be watching standard def programmes (which will be true for me), or if the 40w4500 only really comes into its own for blu-ray?

I dont think there is much in it for SD. The best value for you though is the 42PX80 which is now only £499
