Make sure you get a good look at them both - particularly the Sony which, if our experience is anything to go by, needs the uniformity of its backlighting examining carefully.
Im using an external hifi for sound. So am looking primarily for the best picture above all else, and i won't be using the freeview facility! i haven't found anywhere where i can compare the two. have only seen the sony in standard definition!
