Hi All,

My new Sony arrived today and after a surprisingly easy set up it is up and running.The picture is as good as my CRT Bravia but some channels are not quite as good as others.

I used the old scart leads that i've had for some years,is there anything to be gained from changing them for something better (Gold)

or a HDMI lead?

Is there a settling in period as some say or is this an old wives tale?

I'm watching through SKY SD.

The variation will purely be down to the difference in broadcast quality between the different channels. Your new TV will be highlighting these differences more - think of it as a clearer window through which you can see more clearly.
