Sonos - new privacy statement

I got an email come through stating that there was a new privacy statement that I had to agree to to get the next update.

i actually read it and it said that if I wanted I could ask for all date that Sonos has about me to be removed but if I did so my devices would stop working. This scares me if its true - what happens if sonos stops trading for example.

anyone else read this? Is it true?

Yes.

Google Sonos privacy policy.

Simple.

Agree to it and continue to get updates, or ignore it/disagree to it and watch your product go out of date and - sooner or later - fail.

Sonos don't seem to be hiding anything.

If your ethics won't allow it then stay away from the 'internet of things' and sell your Sonos gear whilst it's still current.
