I'd be interested to know if the 105 sounds better doing the processing for film sountracks (as opposed to your arcam)on your reference system

FWIW. Run the Sub's EQ before running that of Arcam...ie. when you have found the Sub's final position.

No worries mate...

I have to be honest I have only used the analogue out for 2 channel (cd playback) and not surround... FWIW I love the sound from using hdmi into the Arcam... It's epic

Yes I will certainly get the sub all setup prior to running the Arcam EQ... Do you use your EQ at all out of interest?

I did originally, but when I added the 35i through the Pre-Outs, I couldn't get it to work.

I may go back to using it, if I get R100s to cope with L&R through the AVR600.

Yup.

ATM, the L&R are left switched off a lot of the time for AV, as the 35i is expensive to run outside of 2 channel. I will be quite happy using the R100s in this role, as HT is less important to me (and the Centre is way more important anyway). This leaves my AV and 2 Channel independant of each other.

I have 205/2s connected connected to the 35i (also covering L&R in 5.1 at present).....but dismantled atm due to house being turned into a building site.

I don't have R100s.........yet.

I do prefer the LS50s, and would take them over the R100s for 2 Channel.....this is a cost saving excercise.

Your defanatly right about the center channel tho cno,the other evening i forgot to turn on the MF,took over an hour to realise i wasn't getting any thing from L/R :roll:
