Small (but good) speakers...

Hello there! I'm looking for a some decent sounding speakers which are about no bigger than the size of a tennis ball...

This is purely because one of my bedrooms is being decorated, and I want more discreet speakers - rather than the current big black square boxes...

I dont want to spend a fortune, but I'd like some good sounding speakers to go with my Denon mini-system.

Not an audiophile question as such - but thought this would be the the place to ask 🙂

Try Monitor Audio's R45HD satellite speakers, which are about £180 for a pair, then add a half decent sub (from about £100 up) is about as good as you'll get without spending much more money. Otherwise, you'll be looking at something from Bose, like the AM3's or AM5's.
