Sl1200mk2 thermal paste replacement

Hi,

Can someone give me a walkthrough on applying new thermal paste to the underside of the voltage regulator when fitting a new chassis/ plinth (or new to me) on a mk2 sl1200?

Old plinth is is pretty bashed up so got a new one off e bay that is in overall better condition.

I have purchased some paste (Arctic mx4) and hope this will do the job?

It's good enough for computer CPUs.....
Wasn't aware that they used anything under voltage regulators.
