Sky vs Freesat

I a about to get a dish installed in a new (temporary) property. I am not sure whther to take out a SKY subscription, or go with freesat. Im not that fussed about having a million channels, and was previously a sky customer for about 8 years, but am not prepared to pay a tenner a month just for a handful of HD channels. Also, can I receive any channels free with a dish and decoder?

I came to the conclusion that the standard £30 with a Sky+ box with variety and knowledge packs was the best offer.

just check the length of contract - if it's only a short-term solution, you may not want a 12month+ contract....
