Sky HD low volume

Around the time my Samsung HD box had the new EPG, I have noticed that the volume across all channels is considerably lower than before. Where I had the TV volume around the 30 mark I am now having to up it to 50+ to acheive the same level. The box is connected to a Samsung 50" TV via HDMI and also to a Sony AV amp via optical. Volume when played through the amp is fine and has not changed. My old Sky+ box had a setting to adjust the box output volume but the new HD box does not seem to have this faciltiy.

Anyone noticed the same issue or know of a possible solution????

I have the Samsung box with the old EPG.

Do the set-up menus also change when you receive the new EPG? If not, there is a volume adjustment available in the sound settings of the system setup menu
