Im considering getting Sky HD and wondered whether it requires new wiring to be installed from the dish or does it utilise the existing wiring that is connected to the Sky+ box that I currently have?

Thanks Andrew.

I think there is twin feeds but when installed they just drilled through the wall and left the wires poking through with no face plate to tidy things up!

As my new TV is going to be placed elsewhere its going to show where the wires are.

I thought that if new wiring is to be installed I could dictate where they put them.

My other concern is the quality of the cable used. We hear so much about the importance of using high quality cables for our TV`s etc. that I wondered whether Sky consider this as well.

You need both LNBs for sure. I only had one in my block of flats and it completely mucked up the sky+ recording side of the HD box as the second tuner was never tuned in.
