Think of getting a projector now since i still havent got a telvsion. Question is if i mount the project on the ceiling and connect via HDMI the cable will have to be really long to get to the reciever. Does any one have any experience with this?
No way. It has to go across the ceiling and down the wall if i have my av equipment to the side instead pf infront i say maybe nine metres at least. How much is that going to cost?
Still firmly behind that cable then? I actually forgot about that one. Only thing is ive already got a chord supershield and not sure if i wanted to mix up the make, although it would be a lot cheaper than 150 squid for one cable.
I had two Cablesson (Ivuna and a flat one) cables joined together with a Cablesson joiner for a while, running to 16m, and it was absolutely fine.
I've got all my HDMIs from Cablesson, and they seem well made and have provided no problems.
At demos at a local hifi shop where they've had a long and what looked like expensive braided cables they seem to have no end of problems with them not working properly.
