'OK - we'll have a word with him.' They looked at each other, turned on their heels and I'm not sure we spoke again.
🤣.... If you urinate in the garden, I'm told it keeps the cats at bay. Perhaps that's a little extreme, they could have installed sonic high frequency solar cat/fox detection alarms to chase them away.

In any case cats only listen if it's time for food, you listen to them and obey!

They're lovely when they sleep. 😺😻

They look very relaxed - our two don't often curl up next to each other - although they did when they were young. They do often have a game of chase me around the garden, in and out of the borders, up the trees or over fences - very amusing to watch.

Do you have problems with knotted fur? Our white one, Lily, is terrible for that especially when she gets her winter plumage - a bit like trying to untangle cotton wool! She also creates a fuss when we try and groom her but luckily we have found an excellent groomer, reasonably locally, who does a very good job for not too much money! More to the point, Lily does not seem to make any fuss if it is a stranger she can't escape from.

Our present cat, Mavolio the Ragdoll is on his own but, before him we had 2. Silvester was the big black and white cat and, the tortie, who was tiny, was Cleo. The got on OK most of the time, though with the occasional squabble. From time to time they would curl up together.

Zoya the girl follows Flynn every where, they're fenced in the garden but on occasions, a black moggie female known to Flynn would come to visit him on the other side of the fence. I suspect, Flynn is a feline version of Brad Pitts, male cats hiss and run, nobody messes with a 13 kilo cat that's the size of a small dog!

Knots are a real problem, Maine C00ns are smart cats, they pick up our vibes when I or Natalia would sneak out of the room for the scissors, they're out in the garden like a shot! 🙂IMG20260116210707.jpg

Sylvester is certainly a big chap - looks like he would make two of Cleo!

It's funny how all cats seem to love cardboard boxes - you only have to have something new delivered and as soon as you have unpacked the box, even if you have replaced all the packing, including any expanded polystyrene foam pieces in case of a return, they seem to get in there as fast as a rodent up a drainpipe!

Most amusing when it is a tall box (dehumidifier etc.) and the flaps shut back over so they can't get out easily.

I am confused (not difficult)! Your post did not include a photo - now I have started a reply there is one with them on the table looking towards a TV?

13 kilo, what a monster - our two are slightly less than 5 kilo each.

Yes, the same with us, we even keep a small pair of scissors on the coffee table and it makes no difference how nonchalantly or quietly you pick them up - whoosh - Lily has left the building!

Any slight movement of saucers around six in the evening has the opposite effect 😋🥔

The best toys for cats, are the one's you don't buy in the shop.

They love chewing my wife's hair bands, Zoya has a thing about wardrobes, open the door and she's inside making herself comfy. Flynn loves to jump on the bed when we're changing the sheets, he'll park himself right in the middle, waiting for us to cover him with the duvet! He tries to bite through duvet, when we move our hand over the cover. 🙂
