Setup question.

Hi, I gave my old Cambridge Audio 540R V2 receiver to my brother along with a 5.1 speaker package. He is planning a world cup BBQ party today and wants to set his Panasonic plasma to the amp and then use 2 of the speakers for the sound of the match. My question is can the Panasonic TV be connected directly to the amp to play the TV sound? If so how will it connect? I always used a sky box so never came across this situation before. Thanks for any help and COME ON ENGLAND!!

Panasonics usually have stereo RCA and optical outputs(though i would check to be certain). So use either a standard stereo I/C or optical cable.
