Settings for a 40w4500, bdp-s350 and Sky HD box

Hi all,

Does anyone have a settings list for the combination in the title. I've had a flick through the TV settings and I'm confused as to what I should be using. Things like what picture format should I be using. I've noticed on certain channels that I get a 4:3 aspect ratio. Also, there's settings for motionflow, mpeg noise reduction, noise reduction,live colur, colour space.....the list goes on!!

Are there optimum settings for SD and different ones for HD?

the reason I'm asking is that I'm sure my Sky picture quality has degraded over the last couple of weeks.I had Sky installed mid Feb and was really pleased with both SD and HD on it. Over the last couple of weeks I think I have noticed a worsening of picture quality on SD. Its sort of like watching tv through a slight heat haze.HD is fine as is Blu ray. The freeview picture is better than Sky too.

In the end I sort of justified it to myself by saying its probably always been like it and I'm getting more critical.....but then again, i suspect not!

Has anyone else noticed a degradation of Sky SD?
