Sennheiser HD 201 ?

Hey

I have decided to spend a lot less than the goldrings and was looking at the senny 201.

300 people say they are good on amazong, but a few say they are terrible.

Can you give some advice or recomend something under 20.00

Wanted over ear, and ones that dont leak that much, not expecting huge detail and massive bass, just something for the odd movie and bbc-iplayer ect..

They are great, based on some auditioning in various shops with various tracks. The HD202 have more bass. Both leak a bit of sound. Another one to try are the AKG K44s, which are superb, detailed and have a bit more bass than other AKGs I have heard, but not to the same extent as the HD202s. The K44s do not leak much sound, about the same as the Senns. They are not well reviewed, but I promise they are excellent. I sometimes wonder why I bother with my £200 AKGs as opposed to the K44s which I got for £11, new off ebay.

All will give you sweaty ears due to their plastic pads. But that is par for the course at that price range.

Seen the AKG 44 for 17.50 delivered and the akg k77 for 23.00 delivered?
