Sennheiser CX200/300

My old Sennheiser CX200's have recently developed a fault so I have now replaced them with a pair of CX300's, expecting these to be better. Unfortunately I actually prefer the 200's! Without doubt the 300's deliver more bass (too much sometimes) but I found the 200's to be more biased towards mid range which suits me & my musical tastes better.

Anyone out there like to comment? Is this what I should have expected? Perhaps someone would like to suggest another brand/model which I may be better suited with. Please note I am only looking at in-ear types.

Also note the 200's came from Argos a year or two ago and the 300's were from my local HMV so I'm reasonably confident that neither of them are fakes.

Hi,

can`t comment on sound difference as only have 300 but if your 200 are under 2years old and you can find invoice just send them to manufacturer and they`ll exchange them for you.
