Second hand Linn Majik DSI or a new Cambridge Audio CXN or Azur 851N ???

I'm looking to buy a streamer but my head has started spinng as to what to go for?? These are the two brands I am looking at, and help or reports from people who own any of theses products is greatly accepted... Both brands have their plus and minusses... Thanks

I rate the Linn.

The CA will give a more forward sound and some prefer this.

It will spend on what works best with your speakers.

+1 for the Linn.

I guess it depends on the price you have to pay for one against new or ex demo Cambridge kit.

Of the Cambridge pair, the 851N is better but not sure if £500 difference is reasonable for it. However it does put it in the range of a second-hand DSI.

Definitely worth considering: the new Auralic Aries Mini at £375. It looks to have a great range of functions (including TIDAL, Qobuz and WiMP), and the Auralic pedigree is excellent. You don't even need to use external storage.
