Valve bi-output Bass/Treeble equalizer (left on the picture)

B&W 683 Bi-wired with QED XT Anniversary cables

it's been a few weeks since you posted so maybe it's a good time to ask. I was wondering what are your impressions about your Yaqin tube amp?

I may be looking for an inexpensive tube amp later this year as a present for my brother and this amp surely looks like a treat on paper.

Sorry for the late answer, I have my Yaqin for the past 2years and REALLY love it.

However, I have to admit that it's been slightly modified: new tubes, new capacitors (NOS oil paper), tube delay.

The new capacitors made a massive sound quality improvment !

Finally !!!

After months of preparation, talks, drawings and conception my new DIY turntable is finally connected to the amp !

I have to say, I m REALLY impressed by the quality of sound compared to my old one !! :dance:

(A new platter mat has been ordered and I'm thinking of getting a custom plexiglass platter)

Or was it built on your behalf by an expert?

a bit of everything 😀

I have Carpenter friend living in France who made the base after weeks of talks on the design and I then put the parts on it (arm, motors, etc...)

I still have to put it on spikes
