screen set-up confusion...

.........I am slightly confused over screen settings for the 40w4000 , in the set-up menu under screen settings there is an option for " display area " . The two options available are normal and " full pixel " , but I am unsure which is better to use when watching a blu-ray disc.

The other night I watched Men In Black and switched between the two settings. Normal gave me a picture that filled the screen , however switching to full pixel resulted in two thin black lines above and below and a slightly wider aspect. I assumed that a movie in 1080p on a blu-ray would result in a direct pixel by pixel mapping onto a 1080p screen , so what`s going on???? which is the correct setting to use to watch blu-ray without any distortion????

Full Pixel.

"Normal" will result in slight cropping, usually used for Freeview.
