Saving Private Ryan lip sync error

Hi

While i was watching the new blu-ray version of Saving private ryan today i notes that ther's a little of an audio delay a kind of lip sync error in the last 50 minute of the film , it start exactly at 02:03:00. and it continue for the rest of the film ,any one have had the same issue or is,t just me...

Yes it's awful - especially the scene where Ryan is recounting the story of him and his brothers in the barn. It's way out and looks like one of those really badly dubbed ads we see.

You don't notice the lip sync so much in the ensuing battle scene but I reckon a lot of the gunfire sounds were out of sync with muzzle flashes as well.

Great movie - but I'm glad I only rented it as it's not much of an improvement over the DVD version.

Yes i agree with you! for vedio qaulity i wasn,t expecting much and to be honest i think this is the best the movie will ever look, because it ment to look that way washed and grainy but i was a little dissapionted with the sound qaulity and yes that,s right , the DTS HD-MA dosn,t realy offer much of an improvment over the lossy DTS, yes the new hd-master it did add some clarity in the midrange and high and it,s specaily evident in the dialgue, now it,s more crisper and clearer, but it made the whole sound track feel,s like over done and processed.

It,s a shame that such a great movie have thise error and i wonder how this got passed the control, i mean didn,t paramount notes it....because there many people now have had thise error with their disc,s.
