Sand loading Mission Stance stands

So on the Mission website it says that you can sand fill them— but I have no idea where?!

The main central tube has a big hole top and bottom for cables — so where does the sand go?

Could you put a plastic bag inside the column and then fill it up?

Use kiln dried sand and bake in oven or use cat litter from Asda.
