Hey there and yes it's me again.

Can I just ask you bigboss, you having the larger sized TV, how is it with sd format. Only asking as my mum is now looking for a new TV and a few places that she's been including John Lewis are pushing this model at her... the size is of her own choice ?

My older bro is still at home and looks after her and he himself was saying as to how great a picture it seemed to show but never saw any sd feed.

Please help mate, as I haven't a clue as regards these newer TV's and the 4K.

SD isn't bad actually. On my 65-inch, it's watchable at 8 feet except fast motion. At about 12 feet, even motion is fine. Some SD channels are worse than others.

Hey there again bigboss, My mum went for the 55" version of this TV in the end-up. I wasn't involved (older bro)

Anyway, do you reckon that they need know a few settings for watching TV ? (I'm not great but know a wee bit more about how settings effect the pictures) .... what do you think friend ?

Tonight I saw the out of the box settings and wasn't too impressed ?

Should their picture be based upon 'Cinema' ... or perhaps 'Cinema 2' ?

My memory is bad.
