Hi,

Is there any significant difference between these 2 televisions? I'm interested in watching sports so if one is better than the other for that it's a deal breaker.

OK, does the 1000Hz CMR v 800Hz CMR make such a big difference?

Don't know either, can you demo? One would think the F8000 would be better, I think I would buy it. Oldboy bought it and loves it. From demos the blacks look good too. These are the best prices:

Price match with John Lewis, then if you think the TV is not up to snuff get it collected. That is the best answer I can give.

I can certainly recommend F8000 I never compared it against F7000 so a demo would be best.

For 40" price difference is £175

I compared the 2 side by side in John Lewis. I then compared the 2 in Richer sounds where they turned the lights off so I could check out the black levels. I couldn't tell the difference. They both looked good to me. I ordered the 46" 7000 on-line from John Lewis with a price match to Richer Sounds. That way if I don't like it I can return it under the Distance Selling Regulations - no questions asked. I have a plasma and have found getting a decent LED replacement a challenge.
