Hi all just got me new screen for xmas and it's great, but i have a small issue with gaming. when i first set the tv up i used THX Optimiser to improve the screen performance and using a QED performance HDMI cable to connect my PS3 to my new tv. the problem there in is that when playing Fifa 10 there is a slight blur behind the player as i move them, and when playing Call of duty there is slight delay in controller response (i.e. lag) i have fiddled about with the settings but the problem doesn't get better. wondered if this was due to the tv or whether changing the setting further would help.

Any responses are highly appreciated

it could just be the limitations of the tv, ie inherant game lag. have you got it set to game mode? also, i'm not sure if that tv has 100hz motion processing, but if it has then try it with it on and off, one may be better. hope that helps..

cheers this tv does have 100hz motion processing that why i was confused i thought it would be able to cope with the gaming, i have tried it with game mode on there is a slight difference but it reduces the picture quality. But if it helps then i cant complain cheers for the advise though.

Sorry guys it was my eyes, too much whisky

no seriously though just tried it again with game mode on and changed some other setting and it's pretty good now. will have to get used to it thought after using a 19" tv for so long with no problems.
