Samsung t240hd monitor/tv resolution 1920 x 1200 !

I thought the highest resolution available was 1920 x 1080 or is it because its a monitor, anyone know anything about this tv ?

All I know is that it's primarily a PC monitor with a TV tuner which allows it to be used as a standalone TV. That resolution is the standard across 24" monitors although I'm not too sure what effect that will have on the quality of the picture, I can't imagine it being too good if I'm honest.

Yeah, it's a common PC monitor resolution. There are 30" monitors available with 2560x1600 resolution.

I have read good reviews for this monitor/tv, not by whf but i would be interested in there view on it.

Would it compare well to a proper HD tv whether it be plasma or lcd even if sat at correct distance, giving that HD tvs have different technologys built in i.e viera, regza,bravia.

I know someone with this monitor/tv , they say its as good as any other HD TV 1080P TV like for like if its viewed at correct distance!
