Samsung LE40C750 - Going round in circles

Guys,

Need some help picking a new TV. Liking the look at the Samsung LE40C750 however just read the lag rules it out for gaming. Are there any alternatives out there anyone can recommend for similar price?

If you're particularly concerned about input lag, it might be sensible to look at plasma TVs.

The outgoing TXP-42V20 is still an extremely good TV, despite a few gripes from owners, and can be bought for the same price as the Samsung set you're looking at if you shop around.

You might want to hang on for reviews of the G30, which won't be much more expensive but does have faster phosphor tech, which should make gaming a joy.

The G30 is a 2011 Panasonic plasma (the TXP-42G30B). It's already available for just over £800.

The V20 is available for £699 at the moment, and I've experienced no input lag problems with games.
