SAMSUNG LE40B650T OR SONY 40W5500

I keep flipping between these 2, i had plumped for the sony, but having checked the pictures again and not so sure now, plus the samsung is about £100 cheaper. Anyone got any views on either? anything would be much appreciated. Also i have just purchased a s550 blue ray, would the samsung be ok with this?

Is it worth buying power cables instead of the free ones you get? will it really make that much difference?

BTW is this the same as the 651t on dixons website? any views would be much appreciated.

Ok, I have only seen the sony, but not the samsung, the W-5500 was good, but black levels were not to great!

Here are some other TV's to take a look at...

Try the X series from panasonic, they look nice, although, i have not tried it yet!

of course , but if you wanted a 46 inch thats a great price , if you would prefer a 40 inch then the sony and sammy you first mentioned look the best choices for your budget , just my opinion , they do look the obvious choices ...

i would love the 46inch but i doubt the missus would let me, she thinks the 40 inch is to big! im still not sure, im thinking the sony because i have the s550 blue ray, though not sure it would make that much of a difference
