Samsung le40a856 vs Philips pfl7603d

simply, im down to chosing between these two tvs. i like the thinness and the looks of the samsung, but really like the amberlight of the philips and the sound is better, plus the samsung is about £100 more. Please could someone advice me........ cheers!!

I have the 377603d and have problems with motion blur on both freeview and during blu ray playback. The ambilight is very good and makes a massive difference. I paid £700 for the philips; maybe the samsung is the better option.

I have the 8 series samsung but in the 46". Had no problems. Excellent picture. It does have rubbish sound tho, but i have a surround system so doesn't bother me.
