hi to all my 3D blueray player is connected to my samsung plasma with the bd wise function wish is supposed to optimize the picture quality but i have noticed the image of the startup screen of the blueray player on the tv all the time even when not using the blueray player. but what has baffled me i have disconnected the bd wise function and the image has now dissapeared of the tv so can anyone explain why this has happened my only thought is maybe with the bd wise function it is sending a signal to the tv permantly im only guessing of course so any help would be most appreciated

Im not sure what u mean.

When u turn the blu-ray on it switches the TV's input to the HDMI port the BD is attached to and displays the BD's main screen - with InternetTV, Videos, Music, Photos ,Settings.

You turn the blu-ray off and the TV switches back to the Tuner input. (This is the Anynet functionality).

yes some of the image of the main screen from the blueray player can be seen on the tv screen even though i havent used the blueray player

So its image retention? Have u turned on the pixel shift functions?

Not that familiar with plasmas I'm afraid.

yes its image retention but as i said i havent used the blueray player for a couple of weeks so thats why im wondering why its there
