Is there anyone out there who will be able to give me some idea when will the "Samsung BD-UP5000" be available...?

I think it would be a good piece of kit to get hold of, maybe for Christmas...

This has been raised before here and on other Net forums, and no one out there (including Samsung) seem to know the answer. USA Nov/Dec with the UK about 2 months behind?.

The good news seems to be the price drop. Dabs.com are quoting £493 (inc vat) for their pre-orders - much less than the £800 that was originally mentioned.
