I'm still vacillating over the choice of a 32" TV. I'd like a 37" but have lost the argument with my wife.

I like the look of the Samsung 6000 and 7000 range and am wondering whether the internet gismos on the 7000 range are worth the extra cash. I assume that in viewing quality both are identical.

Has anyone got either of these ranges and can comment? Can I take it that any reviews of larger screen models will be equally applicable to the 32". In the absence of a 37" LED model, I don't suppose that I can convince my wife that a 40" Samsung is no bigger than a 28" CRT.

How much extra have you found the 7000 to be?

You can also view video content back on the 7000 as opposed to still images on the 6000 if that is of any use to you.

I would personally spend my hard earned money on another set, probably something like the Sony W5500 available in a 32 or a 37.

I personally don't feel it's worth the extra £300~? to get a Samsung 7000 over a Sony W5500 buy please don't my opinion put you off. It would be ideal and more beneficial to you if you could get a chance to demo these two models together.

Good luck with your decision making and I hope you're happy with the outcome!

At Currys 6000 £899, 7000 £1099. One year guarantee. At John Lewis 6000 £899 with free 5 year guarantee. No 7000 at John Lewis.

I think that some other online sites might be a bit cheaper but not sure about the "Free" guarantee.

The Sony 32W5500 is available for £574.95 from Richer Sounds. Add on their 5 year warranty you are looking to pay £632.90.

Click!

I'd buy the Sony 32W5500 and use the rest of your funds on something else. It's only my opinion but I know what I'd do
