Hello there,

Is it safe to biamp the Diamond 9.1 with Marantz M-CR502?

Thanks in advance!

me.eccentric:No, I mean bi-amp.
I stand corrected having just looked at the spec's, didn't realise it had 4 seperate amp sections. But yes it's safe to bi amp.

Thank you daveh75, really appreciate your response.

I was a bit worried wondering if all speakers that can be biwired are also capable of biamping. Is that so?

Yep you can safely biamp with the Marantz. I am not sure how much benefit you'll get out of it but if you have the cables give it a try. Its safe to say nobody on this forum has experience with this unit (except WHF) so try it and let us know!

Depends how you like your music. Having tested both - Wharfedales yonks ago and Marantz just recently - I'd say if you like your music relaxed and detailed the biamping is worth investigating, while if you're of a more rockular disposition the improved dynamic slam brought about by running the Marantz with the higher output single-amp config is probably better.

And chaps? Play nice now...
