S370 & multiregion code ?

Just bought Sony BDP-S370 for my dads birthday.

So he dosen't have to keep his DVD player as well, is there a code to make the BDP multiregion for DVDs ?

Do a google for it. Its a long one from what ive seen, and im certainly not suggesting you even try it as it could well 'brick' the machine

The easiest way to make your Sony multiregion is by this remote for £12.98 including delivery. Return the remote after you've used for £2.50 refund. Remember that firmware updates may cancel the multiregion capability, & you may have to make it multiregion again. It may not be always the case. My Panasonic BD60 retained its multiregion capability despite going through 2 firmware updates.

I bought mine from RS alrady region free on DVD, paid an extra £20.00 for the privilege.

On enquiring they said it was Region Free set by Sony, so hopefully no issues during software updates etc

My Panny BD80 is multi region and has had 3 firmware upgrades without a problem

Unlocked mine this afternoon with an old kameleon 4 remote i had lying about took all of 5 mins tops works fine.

I found a forum with a harmony remote hack, it was a little complacted but worked a dream and has survived a couple of firmware upgrades also.
